This notice explains what information MindCalmWell collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we can.
Who we are
MindCalmWell ("MindCalmWell", "we", "us") is a small, independently owned business based in Connecticut. We hold sessions online and in person. We decide how your information is used. You can reach us any time at mindcalmwell@gmail.com.
The short version
- We collect what you send us: your name, email, optional phone number, whether you’d like to meet online or in person, and anything you write in your message.
- Before each breathwork session, you sign a short session agreement and complete a private health screening. We use the screening only to keep you safe and to prepare your session.
- Nothing is paid on this website. If you pay for a session by card, the payment service handles your card details, and your card number never reaches us.
- We do not sell your information, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing us.

We do not ask for your Social Security number, ID documents or medical records, and we ask you not to send them.
Health information
Some of what you share with us is health information: your screening and intake answers, and anything about your body or mind you choose to tell us. We treat it with extra care.
- Please keep medical details out of the inquiry form and your call booking. The private health screening is the right place for them.
- We ask for your permission first. The screening asks you to agree before you submit it. You can withdraw that permission by emailing us. If you do, we may not be able to welcome you to a breathwork session, because the screening is how we check it is safe for you.
- We use it only for your safety and your session. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the services that run our forms for us, and anyone the law requires us to share it with.
- Only Eddie can see it, plus anyone who helps him run a session and needs it to keep you safe. Anyone who helps is bound in writing to keep it confidential.
- We do not put it into AI tools, and we do not use any of your information to train AI models.
- We do not use location tracking of any kind.
- We keep it briefly. See "How long we keep information" below.
MindCalmWell is not a health care provider, so the federal health privacy law that covers doctors and hospitals (HIPAA) does not apply to us. This notice, and the state laws described below, do.
Photos, video and your words
We share photos, video, quotes or names of people we have worked with only with their written permission, given on our session agreement or intake form, or otherwise in writing. You can withdraw that permission for future use at any time by emailing us. We will then take the material off our website and stop using it in anything new. We cannot recall copies that other people have already shared.
Who helps us
We use a small number of services to run this website and our sessions. Each one handles your information only to provide its service, under its own privacy terms.

If we agree another way for you to pay, that payment service handles your payment under its own privacy terms.
We do not record online sessions unless we tell everyone beforehand and everyone agrees.
The fonts on this site are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts.
If you follow a link to another site (Amazon for the book, Instagram, YouTube, or the Chakrablaster game), that site's own privacy terms apply.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of MindCalmWell (in which case this notice still applies to what you already gave us).
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and the website itself sets no cookies. The services above may use their own cookies when you use them directly: for example, Calendly while you book a call, Google Forms while you fill in a form, Square if you pay by card, Zoom during an online session, and YouTube once you press play.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising, and we do not track you across other websites. Because we use no analytics or advertising trackers, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off on our site. We respect both signals by design.
How long we keep information

We delete information on a schedule every 3 months, so an item may stay up to 3 months past the period above before it is removed. If the law, a dispute or a safety concern requires us to keep something longer, we keep only what is needed, only for as long as needed.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can email us to:
- ask what information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- withdraw any permission you gave us, including for the health screening and for sharing photos, video or your words.
We will reply within 45 days. If we need more time (up to another 45 days), we will tell you why. We may ask you to confirm details so we know the request is really from you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Connecticut residents also have the right to know what information we have inferred about you, to opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do none of these), and to appeal if we decline your request. To appeal, reply to our decision with the word "Appeal". We will answer within 60 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Connecticut Attorney General at https://portal.ct.gov/ag.
Residents of other states with privacy laws may have similar rights. Email us and we will honor them as the law requires.
An authorized agent can make a request for you if you give them written permission and we can confirm your identity.
Keeping information safe
We use established services with strong security and keep access to the people who need it. No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
Our sessions are for adults 18 and over, and this website is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is important, or affects information you already gave us, we will also tell you by email before it takes effect and, where the law requires, ask for your permission again.
